Hahaha! The struggle was real! I do remember the shared lights. They were issued at turn out from the QM. I still have one of the ones with the leds around the incandescent bulb.
So in my professional opinion. It’s perfect for city police work. The newest SL20 is nice and it’s a laser beam. But when on patrol in town I prefer the Malkoff. I wish he still made them. Plus this light is 15-20 years old and has scars and stories….maybe a little DNA that is not mine. 😁
