    +1 on the Actik Core. Bought the 600 lumen version last year, very comfortable to use and heat on the highest setting is a non issue.

    You are probably correct. Dont know what i was thinking, i'll edit my post. Just tossing this out there too...im thinking for all the work going into the adapter, same wall thickness, same body texture, wouldnt it pricewise be better to just make a complete 2 cell body instead? Again just...

    Thanks for the updates. It seems like the 2x21700 body has taken a backseat for now since he said he was interested in making an adapter. Gene if you read this thread could you please give an update? Inquiring minds would like to know. Thanks.

    Petzl Actik

    I bought a tikka 350 lumen and an actik core 600 lumen about 4 months ago and both work great. No problems to speak of. Quite comfortable to wear actually. Im waiting for the rechargeable core batteries to go on sale, 29.99 currently.

    Indeed. Great job. Those last 2 pictures have to be the best beamshots that i have ever looked at. Incredible. The output and clarity is just insane. If anyone in that house were looking out the windows they would think aliens have landed.
