    Ya I’ve heard of using the mn60. Using 3 lithium ions must be hard on it though. I’ve found even the mn20 too bright for my needs and wish I could find an mn15. Still fun though. If I need long run time bright incandescent, I just use my mag light with 21700 and a tad custom 350 lumen bulb

    Nice light. By eye you’ll never notice the loss of 300 lumens. But if you want to go the rechargeable route, no surefire does not manufacture the cell. But I’m sure it’s a very good quality. As for an unprotected cell, when the light gets dim, charge it. I’ll admit I’m not well versed in weapon...

    Personally I don't think protected cells are necessary anymore. Lights have gotten a lot better since they first came out. So I would either go unprotected, or better yet use primaries.

    Well I guess I don't need to worry about which cells fit my light anymore…… or worry about the purple mn20 blowing obviously I had it set too sensitively
