Kernel actually works as a grocery store produce man. That side blade is what he uses to trim the ends of veggies
Its actually the only legal way to open packages & envelopes marked with this sticker:

Although axes, swords, pole-arms & saws are also all legal options.

So the 14500 length fits my hand perfectly.
I sold my Boss 18350 because it was too short. I had trouble holding on to it and turning it on with one hand, where as the Malkoff 14500 body is perfectly sized for me. It's still a little long in my pocket though. That's what set me off on the 18350 path....but everytime I think about throwing money at an 18350 I remind myself the 16340 isn't a bad option.

The Malkoff CR123 body is very nice too. The 14500 mah is usually 1000 and the 16340 efest I have is 700...so it's pretty close.
18350 can get up to 1400mah pretty easily. The 16340 is closer to the 14500 than the 14500 is to the 18350

Here's the AA I have on me today. I need to compare it to the VME+MDC AA.
AA is my favorite profile

I need the pool ball spike and ball hammer that's in Marketplace

absolutely, also make sure you get the big clive negative ion massage pen as well, so you not only will see the inside of a police cruiser from the back, but you can also meet people in hazmat suits!

It's my favorite profile too, and why the AA MDC is still in my pocket rather than the LF E1 which feels a bit short in my hand. The LF E1 body was sent to me by mistake when I ordered an E2 body. The E2 is on the way, and might kick the AA out of my pocket, or at least be my next slim jacket carry light. A VME with a body the same diameter as the MDC AA and only slightly longer is pretty inticing, especially considering it will hold a cell (18650) that has more than three times the energy density of a 14500.

I'll post E2 pics as soon as it arrives early next week.

Here's a size comparison
CR123 on right. Rest are 14500
The MDC E head w/ LMH on a 14500 that comes on Malkoff's 16650 kit is probably a perfect light.
But no one has fun buying it right the first time.

I'll occasionally swap the VME for the stock LMH head when I think I might need the flexibility. If Gene would change the interface to change modes depending on OFF time, that'd be a damn near perfect light & id probably never have gotten the VME.

Now for my summer carry when I'm not wearing full tactical gear (rarely obviously)

The LF E2 is finally here and I'm loving it. Despite the warnings of fitment on the website, The largest 18650 I have (Keeppower protected NCR18650G) fits with slight resistance. Length isn't an issue.

M61NL with a runtime of ~9-10 hours in a body this compact? Oh yeah!

I use the same body with a protected 18650 and mdc head no problem
