I am not seeing 30 lumens for the old Aeon on low, more like 7 lumens. Also the low on the MkII is in the neighborhood of 1 lumens. My numbers are based on bounce with a light meter, compared to several of my LED lights, and are estimated numbers.

I believe the low on the original Aeon was around 15 lumens. I think Enrique estimated the low on the Mk II was to be around 4 lumens. I don't have a light meter or sphere, but both of those numbers seem right to me, based just on my experiences.

Ran out about 9pm with not a sound, so looks like 7 days and 3 hours.

Replaced the battery and now the light is going over half a turn before changing levels, but now it jumps to high, then low. :ohgeez:

Oh no!! I am guessing the prolonged run deflected the switch and changed the activation points. Hopefully Enrique can fix it and shed some light on whether this is a common defect and if we should all be worried.

Night before last when my battery finally died I had no CR2's available other than one out of another light, so I robbed it and started getting the strange low>high>medium situation, but it didn't last long and I put in a new battery yesterday, which returned it to normal.

Tried my Aeon Mk.II as a bike headlight last night and its beam is great for lower speeds and gives a really nice wash of light all across the road.

My light is acting in a similar manner. Once activated, it takes a complete 360 degree turn to reach medium, then barely a fraction of a turn to hit high. Enrique, could you please look at my light too? I'll send you another PM. Thanks!

For KD the culprit was a low battery. Do you have another cell you can try?

My old Aeon had this behavior when the battery ran out. I assumed it was a low battery indicator function.

Well it's a relief to find out and a bit surprising too, since it still came on in high when I tried it. Apparently it's common knowledge for Aeon veterans who've been carrying them for eons. :grin2:

Hello Everyone,

Another batch of lights shipped out today. The last six will be going out tomorrow. It looks like I will have a few extras at the end of the run and will be contacting those on the waiting list to pick up the last few remaining ones.

Thanks to all of you for your patience throughout the course of the project. I hope you all enjoy your lights, and look forward now to wrapping up on the Nautilus project (http://www.candlepowerforums.com/vb/showthread.php?363306-Titanium-Nautilus-Mk-II) soon!

I'll be responding to e-mails sent over the next two days.

Thanks folks.

Enrique

Hoping mine will be in the last batch! Did the rest of you receive tracking codes when yours shipped?

I don't believe Enrique provides tracking numbers but the USPS priority service he uses are track-able if anything happens...
