For sale is my second, and very likely last, SOYCD triple Haiku. The mods include:
- Stonewash of entire light, clip and screws. This light got an extra long 24 hour stonewash for a super smooth look and feel.
- 2 x XP-L HI U5-4000K and 1 x XP-L HI U3 3000K 80 CRI triple with Carclo frosted narrow optic. I went with one slightly warmer XP-L to bring out a more soothing tone to the tint. The overall color temp is probably somewhere in the ~3700K range.
- Dr. Jones H17F lucidrv2 programmable driver featuring 24 levels from a very low moonlight up to ~4.5 Amps, multiple memory options, 2 mode groups with up to 7 level settings each. Full details and instructions for the driver can be found on the Mtn Electronics website. Current settings are:
- Mode Group 1: Hybrid Memory 1, 5, 10, 15, 19, 22 (Alt – 2)
- Mode Group 2: No Memory 17, 23, 13, 8 (Alt – 2)
- Custom turned CuTe heatsink to shed the heat.
- Modded McClicky turned into an electronic switch (will include a spare standard McClicky as well). Details and pics of this mod can be found here: http://www.candlepowerforums.com/vb...ou-mod-today&p=4901328&viewfull=1#post4901328. The switch works great for general use but you need a fast finger to get into the programming with it - possibly swap in the regular McClicky for easier programming.
