YeaDid you try a different battery?

I wouldn't sell a defective light to the nice people that hang around this website. That would be the exact same thing I'm faulting Muyshondt for.If he sends the flashlight back to them and they don't accept it they've still lost that money. They can't refurb it and resell it, it's not economically viable to rip out the electronics and slap it into another host.
If you want to make sure you can get the service you want then you have to read the fine print, especially since so many companies already have policies against returns on copper etc.
If OP wants to get money back he should try to sell it instead, maybe he won't get all the money back but it'd be some of it, in this current situation that's a better approach than to force a company to go against their own policies because he's butthurt.
Selling defective products is chickenshit. I'm sure you'd feel differently if it was yours.Going the credit card route is chickenshit
ThisAs a business owner I have to say that not immediately replacing a faulty item out of the box, legal or otherwise, is just crappy customer service. Sometimes you eat things in the name of doing business, and this would be one of those times. If a replacement is not available, you offer a refund and go on.
This is not the same thing. At all.Once upon a time I bought a $75,000 car and it got a flat tire. Turns out I didn't like the car so I tried to get my money back. Nope, they wouldn't give me a refund and I should not have to drive around in a repaired car. That car company sucks.

what happens with a known good battery?
Haha there are no good N batteries. A good keychain light would have an aaa eneloop or lithium energizer!!known good battery?
Don't know what your problem with reality is but you started saying that there were no good N batteries even though many of us have had great luck with them. Your insecurity shows when you can't even stay on topic.^^ wow, that was hurtful! Finally a sensitive Muyshondt owner has shown up to this thread. I realize your Maus is tiny but you don't have to berate me for your insecurity.
You gotta be kidding... you missed the sarcasm and humor. Maybe on the spectrum?? Good luck with your faith in the great N battery.Don't know what your problem with reality is but you started saying that there were no good N batteries even though many of us have had great luck with them. Sorry about the hurt too, but since there was nothing said that would affect a normal individual, that's 100% on you.
Care to show us any evidence of Nferiority?
Yes, actually I did, but tried to get back on course and ignored the most negative part of your post in hopes of going back to the subject. You gotta be kidding... you missed the sarcasm and humor. Maybe on the spectrum?? Good luck with your faith in the great N battery.
Just a standing offer.... Let me know if you ever get sick of that Mako and want to part with it one day.^^ if you have read my posts instead of latching on to simple words like "stupid" which described the battery, you would have learned that I have owned a number of Muyshondt lights, including your precious maus, and currently only have one, an aaa mako. Enrique's suspect marketing and sourcing of his lights, not to mention his choice of batteries😉, make his current crop of lights just more pocket jewelry usually seen on fb and instawank. Caveat Emptor!
My two favorite lights are one of the earliest and one of the latest. Bronze Aeon and copper Maus, but the latter on a neck lanyard really has been a greatly functional light for me.His earliest iterations appeared to cater to users looking for durability and long battery life, more industrial and utilitarian.
