What's a canceled tv show you wish they'd bring back, even if it was just re-runs?

Not by our definition. Woke is going way over the top to the point of preposterousness to virtue signal. Grown men competing in women's MMA, women's weight lifting, women's swimming...these are what the opposition to woke are talking about when we quote that term.

And the opposite of woke is not prejudice, and certainly not naziizm. That statement alone shows just how ludicrous and hyperbolic wokeness can be, or perhaps that we are talking about two completely different things. But I would guess the former.

Well I'm no fan of trans because of religious laws. Thats a great reason to use too. However I work with them and use last names. I don't really see why they need a whole lot of rights and things such as this really helped me radicalise against the west.

I think the Right uses this term as a broad sweeping term that covers a lot of things they don't like which includes equal rights for minorities. In my country USA we now see conservatives have openly embraced neonazis and other undesirables. It makes Woke seem like lesser of two evils.

I also wonder why both sides cling to extremism? It made me look elsewhere for a side to support with good values and no tolerance for such stupid ideas. That other side being that new State in the East that is very multicutural and very traditional.

I could not disagree more. "The Right" does not believe equal rights for minorities is wrong. Find a representative of the conservative Right (which is what I am referencing) who professes that. It does believe that SPECIAL rights for any group can be very wrong. Equal rights, not equal results, is a fundamental Right Wing (as the term is understood in the US) concept that is often lost on the Left.

All for Equal rights, but never for Special rights.

Unfortunately there are those who pretend to want the former, but actually want the latter. Once saw a woman not get arrested while I was waiting at a local gas-station/mechanic's garage for my car to be repaired. She worked nearby, came in, due to a horrible misunderstanding, started yelling at the manager that she's "not ghetto." Then proceeded to punch him in the face before threatening him that her mom is a corrections officer and that she'll get him.

He called the police. Wanted her arrested for assault. The younger rookie was mostly professional. His older, veteran partner wasn't.... The type of older guy suffering from that diseased, 1950s mentality of how women should be treated because they're all delicate and dainty and.... Yeah, that horribly outdated, dinosaur mentality of how women should be treated. Absolutely disgusting how there are fathers to this day who brainwash their young sons with this diseased mentality.

Long story, short; veteran officer went to talk to her since she retreated to her job site nearby. Issued her a citation. Didn't arrest her. Gave the male victim tons of condescending attitude. Clearly acted like this was a waste of his time. Heck, even claimed that none of the customers there supported his assault story. That's when I politely mentioned the story was 100% true, and yes I'd testify in court if called. Cue veteran officer, a White Male, looking even more ticked off and leaving to hand the "not ghetto" piece of low-life trash a citation and letting her know she has been trespassed from the property, and to not return there. But didn't arrest her. Yeah, Special rights.

Disgusting that someone with his mentality not only got hired by the NYPD, but has thrived there. Soon to retire with a full pension. What's that up to nowadays? About $80,000 a year or so? Disgusting....

Isn't it amazing how easily some here can't stay on-topic. Perhaps you could start another thread about this other stuff.

From the long past:

How about "Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman" starring Louise Lasser.

Another off-the-wall one I have not seen in ages would be "The Larry Sanders Show" starring Gary Shandling.

If you can believe it I spent a whole year around these so called alternative right types. At first I thought they were just some fringe type extremists but then Golden Dawn happened, AfD, or the election of Donald Trump and you see all sorts on the right side support this. They don't even hide how they dislike minorities and advocate for their elimination.

At least with the left and religious forms of governments people are judged based on their own choices instead of something they can't choose.
