Tech Tricks: Homemade Balance Charging Cradles.

No,no, no,no,no....... You did a great job ! I've asked questions about doing this same thing with an i4 but it never came to fruition. I like it !! I just revisited this thread so your work is NOT going unappreciated !! Thanks for posting !!!

Zebralight SC600 MKII L2 - anything better on the horizon?

 I had a Keepower 14500 that was a "little too snug" in my SC52. I drilled a hole in the end and used a screw to pull it out. Admittedly, I was a bit hasty using that method.

Have you purchased a flashlight which you don't want to use?

My TK75 just sits there looking pretty. I am most certainly looking forward to camping season though... :)

which state in the US has the most flashlight users ?

Kali and NY won't be up there for much longer... I'm sure there will be lumen bans/restrictions put in place before long and the price on pre-ban lights will go through the roof.

    Refreshing stored batteries questions

What is the "best" or most accurate rate in C, to discharge cells to try and check capacity ? I've read varying rates from .2C to 1C to the consumption rate of the device you'll be using it in. I've harvested a bunch of laptop cells and separated the cells that wouldn't hold over 4v's. I...

Sunwayman D40A (XM-L2, 4xAA) Review: RUNTIMES, BEAMSHOTS, VIDEO + more

SWM lists a cool white and a neutral white on their website. I can't seem to be able to find which is which when looking at websites price shopping. Is there a D40A-CW and a D40A-NW or something similar ??

    PD35 — P12 — TN12

The PD35 just feels like a higher quality light than the TN12 including a better side button. The TN feels kinda' mushy. I really like the lower outputs of the TN though. I got a deal from Amazon on it so it's a keeper for what I paid. I like the size of the E35 better than the other two. Never...

At What Voltage Do You Consider An 18650 Dead ?

I just harvested a bunch of cells from laptop batteries. I'm checking voltage and charging some of them. There were a bunch of them that had close to 4v and about a dozen over 4v so I am charging them first. There were a few that only had 2.5 - 2.8 V on them. I'm charging them while I'm in the...

We all hate to hear about a recall on anything but it does happen. I'm glad to hear XTAR is stepping up to the plate and taking care of it.

Question For The Surefire Guru's Please. E2D Incandescent Help. Options For Upgrade ?

I have an E2D that I would like to bring back to life. I've been reading and am getting kind of confused on my options. From what I've read I can: A) Buy a VME head (with lense) and a Malkoff M61x drop in ? Is that right ? Does a P60 drop in fit the VME head ? B) Buy a E to C adapter from...

    NEW Thrunite TN12 2014 Version

I like my Pd35 better than the TN12 too, but it's not in the same price range either. The TN isn't a bad little light from what I've gathered so far. The side switch is a bit mushy compared to my Fenix's but it's a bright little light. Nice beam, cool white. I really like the low modes. The...
