https://1lumen.com/review/fire-foxes-ff5gt/ this review confirms my findings. he measured 11,236 lumens with my ceiling bounce trick i got 11,437. I got pretty dang close. he got way less throw however. not sure why- Alex1234

There might be a glimmer of hope. The seller said there should be a significant difference as seen in this beamshot. That is a out what I was expecting and hoping for. But I can assure you my GT does not look that impressive vs my FF5. I am seeing is a replacement is possible. Alex- Alex1234

I think they would need a bigger host and bulb to get 15k lumens. This ones just not cutting it. The other thing I failed to mention the FF5 when it warms up it reaches max brightness and does not dim. The FF5gt is different. I would hold off as well. To my eyes outside they look identical. The ff5gt has a bright Corona which ends abruptly to the spill. The ff5 has a narrower Corona and a secondary faiding Corona that transitions into the spill. The hot spot looks the same intensity on both. Need a meter to show the...- Alex1234

Ok so I just did lux measurements at 10m I am getting 1.36 mcd with the FF5 and 1.42 mcd with the FF5Gt using fully charged vtc5 for both. They honestly look very similar. Looks like maybe my regular FF5 is an exceptional sample at least for throw because thats definitely over spec for...- Alex1234

I am somewhat disappointed. While there us a noticed increase in output and throw its minor. Ceiling bounce tells all. 600lux for FF5 and 660lux with FF5gt. Thats only a 10% increase. I used vtc5 fully charged in FF5gt and molicel p26a in the FF5 but they were under 4v. I have brand new molicel...- Alex1234
