Re: Single AAA light with deep carry pocket clip
Just to update the thread, my Surefire Titan is not a plus, so I just ordered a plus, along with a Prometheus clip. I have been carrying a Streamlight microsystream for a while, just to make sure that the whole concept would work for me. I...
UPDATE: So I have been carrying a Streamlight Microstream for few weeks now at work as proof of concept. I am satisfied that I can pull this off, but I have changed the paradigm a little. I a too scared of losing my Surefire Titan+ with the Prometheus clip ($110 combined), and I like the tail...
Thanks for the reply. I come here when I need expert advice on flashlights. In fact I am a part-time FF and I keep a Surefire 6P with a Malkoff drop-in, maybe an M90(?) with my FD gear, in addition to the issued Streamlight 100 Lumen helmet light. I've been using that set-up for 5-6 years...
I have to buy lights for my field service techs. They will get lots of frequent flyer miles in their tool cases, dropped from ladders, used underwater 2-3 foot maximum. For myself, doing the sma job I use a Surefire G2D, but I'm not going to spend that much, I paid for mine myself. I do get a 20...
I have several Streamlight TLR-1 lights. When I got the original a few years back I thought it was so bright. Then came the C4 that was much brighter and finally the TLR-1s, which is slighty brighter yet. I'd like to upgrade the original, older light, but I'm not finding any drop-in LEDs. Does...
They all take CR123s.
And to follow up on my earlier necropost. I bought another Inforce, the 150 Lumen INF-B-W and it does indeed have a plastic lens, which I find very disapointing.
Sorry to necropost, but I was doing a search before buying another Inforce and I saw this thread. I have a bottom of the line 6V Inforce and it has a glass lens. I am going to buy a 150 now becuase I want a light with strobe and I have money sitting in my Paypal account from selling some gun stuff.
I now it is a lonng shot, but I am looking for a brick and mortar store that would have a 6V or 9V light in stock, so I can have one for this weekend. Any leads?
Thanks, Andy
I like the Cree drop in for the AA Maglite, I'll have to order one. But, I want a push button, not a twister. Also, price is not the biggest factor, quality and durability are. Thanks, Andy
