    The Olight X9 has four LEDs prob XHP 70 or 50s. Will give you lots of flood but doubt it will send a beam 1000m away. It is also huge = Mega beast. BTW. "cd" = Candela a unit of measurement for intensity of light compared to lumens- the amount of light.

    I concur with royalpig180. My NC MH27 is the go to EDC now over Fenix E35UE and thrunite. Really like the throw and spill, enough for dog walking in the dark of night and checking out the local wildlife.

    What was the last LED light you purchased and why?

    Just got my NC MH27 yesterday and love the compact size and good throw. Nice beam profile for edc. Waiting for NC TM16GT from BG group buy. It might take awhile though. Impressed with Nitecore lights. Just started collecting.
