I3S-CU Brass Alloy in Matte and Polished finish

Re: I3S-CU Brass Alloy in Matte and Polished finish REQUEST Attention Olight- Please make this new I3S EOS model in aluminum now and a nice satin Titanium maybe, it would be perfect. Also, the mode spacing has got to go. Make it start on either medium or low. And if you need to lower the output...

Confusion about Olight I3S CU / Ti Gold I3S

Ah, I had not yet tried Nihms. My impressions were based off the alkaline batteries they came with. Popped in an eneloop and it does seem a little brighter. Look forward to your findings. Still hope Olight comes out with this update on a new aluminum version.

I3S-CU Brass Alloy in Matte and Polished finish

In the other thread a user mentioned a brightness concern and help from customer service. I contacted them and was told, Then it seems to just be a very slow ramp down to 90 lumens that I have trouble noticing. And maybe since this lights more defused, I have trouble noticing much difference...

Confusion about Olight I3S CU / Ti Gold I3S

Well, that was my gut thought too, just no scientific way to measure. And no step down on mine, something must be wrong. I'll try to contact their customer service later as well.

I3S-CU Brass Alloy in Matte and Polished finish

Initial Impressions: Weight -Yes, brass is a bit heavier than aluminum, and I tend to prefer the lighter models. The only trade off then would be the expectation of greater brightness in thanks to copper's superior ability as a heat sink for the higher outputs. More on that... Fit and Finish...

I3S-CU Brass Alloy in Matte and Polished finish

3 new lights in the mail. First thoughts... "I cant believe I have a brass I3s with 180 lumes in my hand for 25 bucks!". Will probably do a write up on them later.

I3S-CU Brass Alloy in Matte and Polished finish

Doh. I've actually come to appreciate the spacing on the I3S EOS, M-H-L. So, I don't know. At least their sequential, and L is still last on both. Is the tint about the same? It's the same emitter(bulb?) I believe.

I3S-CU Brass Alloy in Matte and Polished finish

Awesome!! Nice price too. My only gripe with the i3EOS is tint, hopefully a new model will roll out closer to NW. Im definately going to try to get one of these. :D

Olight I3E EOS Available for Pre-Order

Interesting light. I hope this means Olight has a new design for the 3 mode I3S EOS ready to launch as well. I wonder if its clip would fit on this smaller model, looks like you might be able to attach it but it would be a bit long. If they finally update the I3s EOS I'm all over it, that's my...

    Olight i3S (XP-G2, 1xAAA) 2013/2014 review: RUNTIMES, BEAMSHOTS, VIDEO+

Great review. My favorite aspects of the I3S are it's value, size, and pocket clip. Really hope they upgrade it again soon -Fenix is offering stiffer competition with the new E05 though it lacks a clip.

    Fenix LD09: Pictures, impressions, beamshot

I like it. Though I find myself carrying single triple A's more often for edc or around because of their smaller size. May have to check out ld02 or ld01 someday.

    *new* Fenix LD09

Im pleased with mine so far, the UI is pretty easy to use now. It's quite small and handy. It can balance on the switch.

    Fenix E05 - 2014 Edition (not SS)

Wow I'm dumb. I thought the modes were M-> H-> L, like the Olight. So, I guess my light works fine. Also illustrates the lack of difference between low and medium...

    Fenix E05 - 2014 Edition (not SS)

The heads on my new and old E05 are completely interchangeable.

    *new* Fenix LD09

The UI is strange to me, you have to use precise momentary presses to cycle modes. But, it's a great compromise light in my opinion. You get the option of momentary on, a decent thrower with decent spill, compact (like an E11.) Clip, anti-roll, and long runtime on low. It CAN tailstand, though...
