    So Maglite says this one was made on 8/25/1988 (note serial 3181375). I have that other police surplus MC that was manufactured on 10/7/1988, its serial is 3191995. Either they made 10,000 of them in 42 days, or serial numbers are non-sequential.

    Update: These do not handle high current well at all. Contact ends get hot. I imagine replacing the (steel?) caps with copper would make a difference. Screw these things, i'm building my own from now on.

    Love my Ti3 and TN12. Only complaint is the lanyard holes on TN12 make using the tail switch a little cumbersome.

    Right on. Might have to pick one up on the future. Pretty sure my 6s2p AA pack is gonna work out though. Finally got the measurements perfect and just needed to cut a few spacers and add contacts. Look for it in a new thread when I'm done. Kind of a hybrid oddmod/old lumens/FM styles.
