Thanks Bdm82. I enjoyed your review of the TD26 as well. I agree with your review's conclusions.
I don't have the know how or equipment to do a more technical review so I do what I can.
A 100m dive?........I'd have to take a page from your review and tie it to a long rope and toss it in...
I’ve compiled some diving footage with my thoughts on the ThorFire TD26.
There are far more technical in depth reviews and unboxings of this light available on this forum.
This review is intended as a diving specific look at the TD26.

Dive Number 3. TR DF-003.
I got my replacement O-Rings from Nowell's Ebay sale.
Replaced the tail and forward body rings.
The replacements are much nicer O-Rings than the originals. Better fitting, not as stretchy.
I took it down to 90ft. Vis was in the area of 50ft. No leaks ...
These lights are marketed as dive lights but the design is flawed.
Not only the added stress by twisting the tail on it's O-rings but the tail/body connection only works as designed in water as long as the anodizing stays intact.
I've got a TR DF-003. It's got 2 step threading and 4 O-rings in...

Visibility +/- 25ft.
High beam.

Left it there for the duration.
There was a variety of other lights on this dive. eLed Shockwaves...
Looks like my new TR DF 003 is going to eventually corrode away.
I've got pitting around the lanyard attachment point. 1 dive on it.
The little metal spring clip that the lanyard attaches to must have nicked the anodizing and now when submerged with tail cap in the off position the light...
Could you elaborate a bit on what I would need to buy/build/alter to get this light working? Possibly convert it to a can light.
DIWdiver: I tried to PM but don't have the count yet.
I bought a TR DF-003 from MF.
It's a brick of a light. I dropped 3.5 lb's weight off my belt.
Two of the O-rings at the tail were toast. Luckily the two spares were the correct replacements. The threads were very dry from the factory.
I'm not able nor know how to measure output but I'm hearing...
