    Just checked over the Coasts sites. As long as you do NOT mix and match batteries you will be fine. I suggest Energizer Ultimate Lithium cells. These have the highest capacity out of all their rival cells at 3000mah and 1.7 volts at the same time.

    No OP. The light is not going to "burn" you. It just does not have the output to do so. It is still a fun and versatile light. One handed push pull variable focus is some of the best in the industry. Do not skimp on the batteries. Feed the light Energizer Ultimate LIthium cells.

    I am also a COAST fan. The value factor is through the roof. That being said my local police are issued Surefire's. They are Fury's I believe. A more serious question is what on earth light do firefighters use? Where I live all agencies have endless money for whatever they feel is best.

    Lord I hope so. The tailcaps I have taken off of 2 Thrunites work on the PD35 perfectly no problem. I am going to contact Fenix customer service. They have done me right before.
