    Here in the uk if you get a hip replacement on the national health you get a plastic one cemented in to an oversized hole and it is this bond that normally fails with time. Go private you get a Ti one that fits like a glove that will out live you.

    I have been doing mine for twenty years or more. Use clippers with out any attachments and the little lever set to the closest cut. Do this once a week or so.

    Sunglasses

    in the past I splashed out on expensive designer sunglasses, but there’s days I wouldn’t bother as they soon get sat on, trod on or lost. I now mainly only wear sunglasses (amber) on motorways at night as the glare of oncoming vehicles can dazzle me.

    Non flashlight Battery help.

    The original batteries were NiMH so are the replacements. I emailed the company I bought them from and they said they would be fine. Very worse case scenario I may have shortened their lifespan slightly but they doubted even that from one charge cycle. They are in the phones now and charging well.

    DOGS

    My dog passed away just before Christmas. And up until now the longest I have been without a dog is two weeks. I still have the cat, who is great but it’s not the same. I will have a dog again no doubt, but not right now as I can’t afford the insurance on two animals right now.

    How many flashlights have you collected

    Pretty much my experience now. I’m in the process of cutting down and it is grating selling torches in brand new condition at much less than I paid for them. But I am trying to declutter and only keep the few I really like.
