I was asked by Thorfire if I'd like to review one of their lights and I thought it'd be rude of me to say no - a few days later I received a VG15S in the post.
First off the packaging. Nothing too fancy just your standard brown box with the flashlight securely located inside. They throw in some...
The tree is exactly 100m away. Used a laser distance measurer and it was showing as 100m and about 8mm..
At that distance it totally lit the tree up.
Haven't had a chance for a proper distance test but my street is well lit as it is and it threw a huge chunk of light there
A while back I made an offer to "Banggood" to write a review for a flashlight for them and after a few exchanges of email I was left thinking I wasn't wanted. Out of the blue I got an e-mail asking me if I'd still like to review a product for them and a matter of days later this Klarus XT12GT...
I'm after another toy. I'm impressed by proper throwers of torches and am after inspiration for a new one.
I've got loads of AA rechargables hence the reason behind wanting one that takes AA's.
Ideally I'd spend less than $50 but for something decent i'd spend $100.
So,
What would you guys...

I've bunged them on another server which is "open".
Its late and...

the readings were at 532m (iirc) with filters.
The guy doing it wouldnt do it half arsed. His meters read in 0.1mw from 0 to a fair few kw. I think my laser went off the "radar" when it went to be metered ;)
I have recently received a Deal Extreme 50mw green laser (LINKY) and its really quite good.
I have had a few lasers over the last couple of years. One was a £30/$60 5mw one. I modded that to make it a bit brighter and that lasted me a good year. I then purchased a supposed 100mw greenie from...
Right, I ended up buying a Ultrafire WF-606A just after I posted my first post. I got it this morning. Powered it up with 2xAA's and my god its impressive.
I'm getting another $20-25 light soon and when i do i'll happily compare them to my $250 bike light.
