    Need help modifying Darkbuster3 HID dive light to LED

    6 x 18650 batteries with 3 in series and 3 in parallel if that makes sense to create 12v. No :) Sounds like 9 batteries.. Anyway if it's 6, with each one about 3WHr, so 18 Watts for an Hour. Are you using decent 18650's? What LED(s) did you have in mind? Do you need it to focus?

    Convoy S2 Build How-To (First time builder)

    I've been playing with two Convoy S2+ (with UV leds, from GearBest). One was intermittent. Reason was that unlike many other torches, contact between body and tail cap is made on the very end face of the body, as the threads are painted. Scrape it to make sure it's clean!

    Trying to remove strobe mode from led (circuit pictures included)

    This is a BIT of a guess, but the only reason I can think they bother with the 1µ capacitor on the YN-20-3 is for timing the relatively slow flash. They use timing to achieve "low" power, by pulsing the led on/off. (check a phone camera view of it on low - there will be moving bars) . So...
