I am interested in what you went with. I just added a thread for the streamlight aa and have been also doing some research on some UST aa lanterns as well. For the same exact reasons you want one is why I am looking as well.
I am a Florida resident and for preparedness reasons I plan to buy a small lantern style light to add to my preparations for hurricane situations. I want something that works off of AA batteries and preferably off of lithium AA batteries since that is what I have stocked in abundance. The siege...
It appears my last thread was too long to read so trying again. As the title says what works well for you for an edc pocket carried USB rechargeable light with tail click for on/off.
Rich buff I googled some of the info you posted and it looks like you are saying I should build the light myself? I think the results showed parts. Is this the case? I do not want to build the light I would like one that is complete. Thanks for the reply.
First off you all are truly a wonderful group. I have come here in the past and the help and knowledge I have received from all of you is always impressive. It started when I bought a Felix e-11 from info I got from this site. I ended up buying about a half dozen of them. I put one in each...
So I'm a little slow to the game and as the OP I apologize for not staying up on this but I got my light in. Great big huge thumbs up to bright guy. If I buy a light again I will use them again. Moving on. The bad. Remember I have almost nothing to compare it to other than my e-11. The e-11 may...
No no please go for it! I'm not an expert here anyway. I've had the same light as an edc for 5 years so I won't have much to compare it to. Please share. I'm looking forward to it. I'm a fan of the low/high option.
Ok so quick update. I'm guessing this is a user error somewhere but I didn't see that when I ordered from optics planet that it wasn't actually in stock. I went back and looked and couldn't find out where this was said but after several days order status said waiting for the item to show up at...
That is an impressive pile of lights. I don't have anything near that much. I buy a lot of gun stuff from primary arms. The streamlight weapon light was my first purchase of a light from them though. I have bought from opticsplanet before and I like them. Looks like you are a fan of streamlight...
Bykfixer, brite guy did have it in stock and for a dollar less than I paid, but optics planet is where I got mine. I usually buy as much stuff as I can from primary arms due their excellent customer service but they didn't have it in yet so optics planet was my second choice.
Celtic Cross...
I will do. I'm not good at comparing to other lights because I don't have a lot of others but I will let you know. I go to work for. Week starting tomorrow but when I am back in town it should be here waiting for me.
