    Not really important. Nichia and cree in quads and triples don’t have a problem. Nichia has a low vf and you would only worry if it was a single led using a low vf.

    It honestly sounds like you locked it to a single mode. Tap 8 times then hold if you have a forward clicky. If reverse clicky, click 1 time then tap 8 times until you see a dim pulsing. Once there tap 1 time. This will remove it from locked mode.

    According to the drjones instructions: 12 taps: Toggle prog-lock, disables programming the light. Mode lock and switching between mode groups (1 or 2 taps in the config menu) will still work, also 12 taps again to unlock, but all other config options won't. If you still cannot get it to work...

    Funny that you mention the led, I just got my ConvoyS2+ back from PflexPro for and led swap. Went from a Nichia 219c 5000k to an xpl-hi 3a 5200k which is actually a better tint than the Nichia, less green specifically with these 2 leds. Plus I get the additional benefits of higher efficiency...

    Check out PflexPro, Randy can customize a light for you. The p60 solarforce host is a perfect weapon light. I just got my ConvoyS2 + from him. The advanced driver is awesome.
