Hows about a Thrunite TH10v2? Has a throwy beam (307m claim). 18650, neutral tint option, Usb charging. Only thing bad is high is about 1100 lm/med is 350 lm (4hrs claimed), so not 400-ish lm. Also non-ramping and a bit heavy.
So I just acquired a Manker E02H. For some odd reason, it doesn't like my eneloop pro batteries. At first I thought my sample was a dud and ordered a second one from a different retailer. Same outcome for the second one too. It's strange because the runtime graphs I've seen were eneloop based...
Well I just purchased the E02h. Soon as I remove the headlamp from the plastic tray, the magnet of the tailcap came off. I figure an easy fix...okay. I popped in a fresh battery and after fiddling with it, I couldn't get to Turbo mode. It would just flash and turn off. I'd click the switch again...
Thanks for the review.
Some questions though.
1)Are you able to do "1 handed" mode changes? Meaning is the ring selector smooth enough to change modes without altering the direction of the beam. I do a lot of note taking in the dark, don't wanna blind myself.
2) What is the max output with...
Thanks Much for the info. I'm ordering a Toolvn to replace my Fenix LD02 as soon as funding permits. I'd say more flood with neutral tint is better for my tasks though.
+1 for the D25A Clicky as backup. It's so compact that you'll forget it's there. Another thing about this pocket rocket is that in "Group 1" mode (head tightened), you have the critical modes a LEO would want....High and strobe ONLY. Group 2 has the rest including moonlight and other hidden...
that's interesting. I have a XPL-HI p60 and the hotspot is slightly larger than my XRE p60 (the real throw king LED) with a way more intense middle. The reflectors look identical aside from the orange peel. Could some else enlighten me? I always thought that the dedomed version, aka XPL-HI (and...
It appears that both headlamps use the same type of headband and housing. Both should feel the same except for the weight. Lighter = More Comfortable.
IMO, I'd take the HL23. Same emitter and form factor. I can get the same type of runtime with extra batteries. I don't have to worry about...
Another one to look at is the Spark SG5. The coolest thing about this headlamp is the ability to change from flood to reflector. Offers neutral white tint. Very good runtimes. Superb build quality.
I rather prefer a lightweight AA headlamp. I dont really need a huge amount of lumens like 18650...
Re: The Lounge
That's funny...mine departed the "post office", dated Aug 5th. no further details.
I'm starting to think that somewhere in the pacific northwest, some postman is having the best camping trip in the history of history. lol.
I was really excited for this lamp. Too Bad. I don't like the low mode. Even If they had a 5-10 lumen "Lowest" mode, I would've bought it. Also, I suspect that the mode selector ring would be annoying. Is the selector ring smooth enough to change modes without the light rotating in the holder...
It's public....you can find it on their website. H10 headlamp. Nothing set in stone I believe though. Would be even better if they used the newer emitters.
