New KeepPower 18350 don't work in series
The solder would need to be no lead that consists of tin - copper - silver or you might get an oxidation on the solder which could introduce some resistance in the circuit which would not be a good thing. At $.29 cents per magnet it is no big deal if you lose a few and the gold plating makes...- denenstein

New KeepPower 18350 don't work in series
I use 1/4" diameter x 1/16" thick gold plated disc magnets from K&J Magnetics that are $.29 cents each and they work great. You do have to remember that they are there when you remove the batteries for charging, etc.- denenstein

Nitecore E4K - 4x XP-L2, 4400Lm
I have my light setup as follows and it does everything that I want. The memorized mode is set to the middle mode - 320. I can double click from off for 2 or single long click for 320 and can get to 4400 from either one by holding the button. Those three modes are really all that I need for...- denenstein

New Product Announcement - NITECORE MH23 1800 Lumen Rechargeable Compact Flashlight
I just received the replacement MH23 from the Nitecore Store and it is now brighter than my MH20 as it should be. It is a tighter hot spot because of the deeper reflector but much hotter than the MH20. It is cold here now and I probably will not have a chance to check it outside for a few days...- denenstein

I received an email from the Nitecore Store today. They received my MH23 and tested it against a new light from their stock and agreed that it is indeed dimmer and are sending me a replacement.
