That link isn't to the black friday deals. It's to the daily deals. As far as I can tell, that M1vn with the driverVN4, which requires a single 18650, remains available.
Used my Thrunite TH10 to help diagnose a problem with the heater control in my car. Put the headlamp on after getting frustrated with my 4D Maglite with it's Mac's Customs dropin.
Since this uses the stock driver, it's 'working voltage' is 3v-12v, right? Has anyone tried 4xCR123, or 3x18340/18350 (with a blank spacer) or even 3x18650 (with a 3rd battery tube)?
Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't joining cells in series increase voltage and NOT capacity (as opposed to joining cells in parallel, which increases capacity only, and not voltage)? These are 3.7v 5000mAh cells, which is pretty good, no?
Re: WTS: K40vn XML2 PDT- $130
Thanks for clearing that up. I read up mostly on the sale threads but didn't see a reference to pdt.
So, at 380k lux, will this light up an orange sign over 1km away?
