    Surefire 6PDL w/M61 or Surefire E2DL ?

I can't decide............ that's why I have both. :) They are both flashlight in their own rights. E2DL somehow to me has an advantage over M61 because it has dual mode, and the bezel is just an awesome piece of defensive art. BTW, the newer 200 Lumen ones really kicks out 240 lumen OTF, I...

    New Surefire E2DL 200 LUMENS?!?!

My new E2DL (purchased last week) is definitely brighter than my older one (from November of last year)... ACTUALLY it is a little brighter than my LX2 (purchased December of last year).

    help, LX2, no low mode!

Sounds like you have a broken tail switch. My L1 did the same thing after a few months. The low power contact tab is bent inwards and is touching the high power contact. I try not to screw in the switch too hard when switching to high.

Buying Surefire on Ebay: Authentic or Counterfeit?

I have bought many Surefires from Ebay and some from local Gunshows and few from Batteryjunction. I have had very good luck buying from Ebay (over 1/3 of my stock), and they're very very good... no different than buying from a regular store. Besides the obvious (no bad reviews within past 6...

It's a new year almost, anyone got news on SF L5? I'm dying here...

Well said woodrow, also the lux V only have 500hr to 50% lifespan (Cree is 20,000hr to 70%) .. that really sucks. I had my L4 for almost 2 years now and its output is starting to fade, the L4's led is also starting to turn really green:green:. I really hate to see my perfect white L5 going...

    SF safety question

There has been very few reports (actually only one in the forums) about lithium exploding in a very hot environment. But lithiums are very good (10x better) comparing with alkaline when it comes to storing in a hot car. I had stored a pair of Sanyo lithiums in my "Black" truck.. in Florida for...

    Green tint on E2l... ughh!

bought a total of 6 E2Ls (all cree), gave them to my wife, kids and relatives, but kept 2 for myself. I opened all of them to compare the tints, and two had cold white tint and the other four had warm tint (not one comes close to matching to another one).

    SF L5 on rechargables?

I just thought of an advantage of 3.0V RCR123's over 17670.. they fit in the spare battery carriers that Surefire offers.

    SF L5 on rechargables?

I have been using the same Tenergy 900mAh RCR123's with no ill effects. I tested especially hard on the the old L4, gets really hot in a hurry, but never had any problems (4th straight month). I have used it at work several times and constantly drain the battery from full til it quits (no...

    Surefire L5 Questions...

6PL and G2's heat induced regulation do not appeal to me and also raises a few reliability questions. I believe, a well designed led flashlight should be able to put out maximum lumens until the battery is near exhaustion. Surefire's L6, L5, U2, and E..L series are the best examples, they...
