I also recently bought a XP-G 007 that had been swapped to the Nichia 219. I have to say it's got the nicest beam of any light I've ever owned, including the high CRI Haiku I used to own. Go for the 219, you won't be dissapointed!
The smallest P60 host I can think of would be a E1B or E1E with a VME head and a 16340. I've got an L1 based P60 host which is nearly as small (17500 or AA), and feels like just the right size in the hand.
Heinnie have them now. Unfortunately they've only got the Pro in stock, as the Pro+ is on backorder. Might be worth giving them another ring though, as they may have some coming.
Re: "Ode to a Spy", or "Why the SW GG Spy IS worth every penny!" VERY PHOTO HEAVY!!
I just received my first Spy. I've always wanted one, and this thread has finally tipped me over the edge. Not a gunner's grip, but mine is going to get a pocket washing with all the detritus of my day to day...
Yes! My mother had one in her bedside table when I was growing up, and I was obsessed with it. I think it was the rotating head, and how it turned on automatically as you opened it. I also loved those disposable Eveready incan lights... the one with the sort of angled body.
Re: WTS: High CRI Haiku (UK/WW Shipping)
If only that were possible.... Instead of that, I've recently purchased a Spy007 from another member on the forum, and am looking forward to it arriving.
Re: WTS: Spy007 XP-G #0548 (w/ Nichia 219 mod)
Thank you for the congrats everyone. This is my first Spy, and I'm very excited to see what all the fuss is about.

Hi All,
I'm looking to get a recent run XP-G or one of the new XM-L Spy 007s from within the EU. I would prefer neutral to cool tint. Trits would be nice, but not necessary. I intend to EDC the light, so if it's already got a few scratches and scrapes, that's no problem.
While I'm happy...
