I agree Lumens are just one part of the whole illumination experience. It mostly comes down to the needs of the individual user, and being able to recognize which features are applicable to certain use cases. I like this new SC65c HI. Interesting…I thought the bezel on the discontinued SC600w mk IV HI would be the same size as the new SC600w mk IV Plus HI. The new Plus HI bezel is obviously larger than the SC64w hi, but I am interested to see the beam comparison that that one as well. Mine was supposed to be here today...- FAAbUlights

Yea…I had the same reaction when I saw the charge hit my CC shortly after placing the order. Normally that means an order has shipped or is in stock and shipping. I don’t think the bezel will be too wide for you especially considering the performance you will get from this light. The color temp of my Zebralight “w” models are my favorite. The purest of white. The SC53c would bee too yellow for you but has higher CRI. The SC53w is going to be just right...- FAAbUlights

Attractive, simple to use, quality flashlight with good CRI for wife/daughter
Ok got ya. I figured that might be the case. Check out the Lumintop Tool in Copper or Titanium. Comes with a Nichia 219B emitter. 3 mode Clicky or twisty depending which tailcap you use.
