    Just curious, but do you find that a flashlight will give as good of results as a dedicated camera strobe?

    I think for tracking game you don't necessarily need a super bright light. You mostly need something that lights the ground immediately in front of you well. The HC65 should work very well for this purpose. I love mine so far.

    I've only had mine for about a week, but the voltage indicator seems to work properly when I've used it.

    Nice review. You mention that the "over-the-top-strap" is not removable, but that's not the case on mine. I probably wouldn't want to try to use it without it, because of the weight, but it is removable.
