Small EDC flashlights vs medium size flashlights??

I’ve carried both as EDC. But the 18650 lights ( Both a Nitecore P12 & a Thrunite TN) I have always carried in a belt holster. I started carrying both at my previous job when I was on the emergency response team. I needed the bigger light to throw up to second plus story ceilings to look for...

    lights you regret buying? why?

For me, the one I completely regret is a SF E2D Defender. I don't think it was an led. It was my first attempt to get a belt holster sized edc that was better than a minimag. There was a guy at work selling them as a side business and I thought $100 ish would be worth it for more light that...

    EagleTac USA domain expired??

I called them this morning when I saw it. They hadn't updated the credit card that had expired. They got it back up. And while I was on the phone, I ordered 3x D25A clicky`s.

    **NEW** Nitecore EA4 Pioneer (4*AA, 860lm)

WOW! Has anyone else seen the EA4 L2 (XL-L2) at Illumination Supply? 950 Lumens! There's a link on the CPF front page. They have a coupon code going for 25% off (ISCRAZY). :paypal: That's less than the best price I could find on the std EA4. I ordered 2 (one for my Dad's Birthday)...

Need a light for ERT -

Thx, I'm gonna order a BA20 & a D25A2 later this week. See which one I like the best. I'll take a look at that minimag too. I think this is the real reason I took this project on, to have an excuse to order new lights for myself. Don't tell my wife... There's a guy here at work...

Need a light for ERT -

Hello, I have taken on the task of picking a light to buy for my Emergency Response Team at work. The main things I need are standard AA or AAA alkaline batteries (That we can get as needed at work), must come with a belt holster, ~$50 or less price point, reliable. I work in wafer fab...

    Best 1AA Light Under $20?

I have been EDC'ing a Life Gear 1AA for a while now (close to a year). 80 lumens, one mode (full on/off), Tough so far, bit of a thrower, smooth reflector, rubber grip sleave. Here's a thread on it: http://www.candlepowerforums.com/vb/showthread.php?230096-Life-Gear-lights I paid ~$30 for it...

Which is your LEAST favorite UI?

+1 any UI that requires two hands, ie twisting. I don't mind twisting to lock out, but that's the only time.

    What job do you do?

Night shift supervisor in a wafer fab manufacturing plant. I'm also on our ERT, so carrying a light all the time helps when spotting leaks or searching for the source of an odor. I used to carry a Nitecore D10 until it broke. Now I'm carrying a Life Gear $30 lite, 1AA that puts out 80 lumens...
