BUt I dont think there is any flashlight that can beat a 15 dollar 2000 lumen modulr light , just pound for pound . most of the light pods can be attached to a go pro mount or garmin lock mount with the elastics . I could simply just use a 10$ garmin bar mount and clamp it to a battery pack...

I just cant see any situation where a light pod would not have an advantage .
Im starting to get tired of these lights that are pushing way to mush max lumens on one cell with no way to choose output. I dont see why some one would want a complete light and body throwing 4000...
would these work as light pods for a bike or flashlight like pattern , or are they just markers , it says they are 600 lumen ?

I have a light I set up I put together , it can be powered by a 12 to about 16v pack. Problem is I have to make pack with around 12 AHs capacity. I cant think of a way to legit charge it while on cycling trips. Id have to bring my charger and find a wall, But if Im in the woods or rural area its...
I guess each budget light should be well under a certain price for the functionality. Like a spot style light might be budget under 100$ , and a pocket light would be much less under 40$.
I have used the olight i5 with an EBL AA cell for almost 1 year , it was free but still if you can get it...
this is what I needed to do , it seemed to flicker a bit maybe a loose wire , they both have 3 modes some times go out of synch,
I was planning on powering them with a 3.7 v battery pack , and I also have some usb power packs I assume are 5v , I have not yet to build a light like this...
HI , I have some anker lc90s , I hate these versions , I want reuse the heads and leds into an external powered light i can poiunt to bike or helmet , maybe even weapon light , wonder if there is a go to guide to re-using lights and removing the body ect.
