    Name that headlight

I've got a few friends that are on Steel Soldiers and have military vehicles. If you're on that forum maybe you could post? It's a cool truck and I'd like to find out more about it.

Yeah, that was an ongoing thing about them; Alaric caught it from Virgil. Very strict doctrine. As a test and measurement professional, I got it. I work in science. Data. Facts. ...but I try not to be too pedantic... I loved them both anyhow. I work with a lot of pedants and am used...

Thanks. Bloody shame. I learned a lot from Virgil, nearly as much as from Dan. And Alaric joined a couple of other forums I'm on to help out there with lighting questions. Guess I'll email the pics of the truck to Dan Stern. I'm really curious.

Still dropping voltage after installing relay kit

Ray built me a 12 gauge harness to custom length for my Jeep, back in the day. https://www.rallylights.com/ I had a pair of Cibie Z-beams that I got from Dan Stern and it worked great. I later used the same harness when I started doing the first tests of JW Speaker & Trucklite LED 7"...

Spotted by a forum member on ExPo --- looks like an H4, unknown country of origin or vintage. Who made the headlights? How's your memory, Virgil?

Rigid 37000/37101, Worth the Money? Good Option?

Contact Rigid/Trucklite and ask about the fitment; they'll get back to you. They work fine for what they're supposed to do. As for better, do you want a safe/legal foglight or an offroad-only trail light down there? Cause there are lots of offroad lights you can jam in that hole that are...

NEW Philips XtremeVison Pro150 (+150) and Philips RacingVision GT200 (+200)

Yeah, I've got the upgrades already, trimming tabs off here and there. And they work great. But you know me, a test and measurement professional ---- I gots to test and measure... I guess I'm bored. I want drop-in LEDs that work already. I mean, how hard can it be? As somebody famous once...

NEW Philips XtremeVison Pro150 (+150) and Philips RacingVision GT200 (+200)

I'm on chat with Philips now trying to find 9005 and H11. The chat drone doesn't know what I'm talking about and is giving me a link to the X-treme Visions. edit: I sent him a link and he says they're sorry and not available yet.

    130w bulbs for aux lights

I'm not spending my money, remember. His money. And he'd get the bragging rights of having a toggle on his dash labeled "lasers". This is the one I've seen demo'd. Hybrid. Along with a couple of their other lights. They lit up the side of a mountain one time, across a lake. It was like...

    Glass versus plastic headlight lenses

When I become King, I'm going to mandate standardization of headlights. 7" round, easy to replace, upgrade as technology moves forward. Fits a Miata, fits a Jeep. I had a pair of JW Speaker Evos in my Jeep for over 150,000 miles, used well, and they still looked fine on the day the Jeep blew...

    130w bulbs for aux lights

No school like old school. Scott's headlight really rocked. But if I'm spending someone else's money, I'm spending with abandon. Freakin' sharks with freakin' lasers.

    Best 9003 bulbs?

They were Amazon buys that took three tries to get me the correct size. sigh And the bulbs in my wife's car -- easy to change on the passenger's side and impossible for a 6'5" guy to change on the driver's side.
