Okluma DC2 high amp switch mod

Hi Guys, I have a Okluma DC2 where I run high amp 18650 batteries. I burned a few McClicky switches on this DC2 back in 2018, so, I installed a SkyLumen, Vinh, FS54 "short spring" high drain forward clicky in the DC2. I have it for many years now and it still functions perfectly. It fits...

    December DC1 Drop

Fantastic Quality. I bought 2 Ti DC1s on this run, and I already have a Ti blasted green DC1 and a Ti DC2. One of the new DC1s will be a Christmas Present to my brother. All have N219c LEDs. These are great lights ! The finish is fantastic. You won't find better quality or a more honest...

Re: Candidates for Oslon White We are trying them in an Okluma DC1 copper engine with H17F driver - triple LED with Carclo narrow optic.... We'll see how it works out.... I am hoping for a thrower with a huge hot spot and no corona...

    The Lounge 2018

I have the prototype ROT66vn with the SST20 from the Thanksgiving sale. It is a great way to go ! Lots of lumens with high CRI. I like the way the 9 LEDs are evenly spaced rather than 3 sets of triples (ie. 3 optics) on the MK34vn -- which seems like a compromise to use off-the-shelf optics...

    Sky Lumen Tange

First, I do not recommend anybody doing what I am doing below. I am an expert in Flashlights and anyone using heat on a battery could blow it up. Do not attempt this at home. Send them back to Vinh to reset them for you. Ok, I started messing with them while watching Red Zone. The...

    Sky Lumen Tange

I bought 6 of then for Christmas Presents. I just got around to testing them. 3 of them do not work. Out of the box, they do not light up, and when you plug them in, you get this little red dot after a while in the middle of the switch. When you disconnect the charger, the little red dot...

What are your current top 2 favorite VN modded lights and why? (Limit TWO)

I just got my prototype RO66 SST20 from the Thanksgiving sale and put some vapcell high drain 20 amp cells in it. Great Light ! 20 amp cells definitely light it up more than the high drain sanyo 10 amp cells and the old Panasonic 6 amp green cells (showing their age now). Comparing them...

    Sky Lumen Tange

I just got two of them. They both work well. I like them ! The Sky Lumen signed build spec card is also really nice. I will take 4 more please. Some questions. 1. Does the flashlight circuit limit the charging amp to .05a or so, or whatever is appropriate of such a small cell ...
