FWIW:
I would make my selections with with the following in mind:
1. All lights use the the same battery type so I am only carrying one style of battery.
2. Instead of carrying a bunch of batteries I would carry a solar panel and a single bay USB battery charger.

I have been happy with my Garmin 62S which is the predecessor to the 64S. It has always been very accurate and I have never had no signal. It always works and gets me to where in am going. The only downside for me is the small screen. If I were to buy one today I would go with the Oregon for the...
That is the exact reason I bought it. It makes a great hat light. I wish the clip went a little further around the body of the light but it works well for the intended purpose.
I also ordered the red lens for it but I’m not thrilled with the fit of the lens. I’m not sure that they sent me the...
I had a Fenix HL50 and it’s a great little light. Nice and light but the CR123A’s can get pricy so it’s best to buy in quantity online.
The Nitecore HC 90 has been my main headlamp for hunting. The RGB Leds are a little underpowered but useful for getting in and out. The white headlamp is great...

MX has some good advice.
I too too am a fan of Illumn, Battery Junction, and I will add Lion Warehouse as well. I can’t emphasize enough to get good quality batteries. They make...
I’m a fellow hunter so I know exactly what you mean. There is no substitute for lumens when you are tracking a deer.
My first question is what light are you using now?
Can you replace the CR 123A’s with RCR123A’s or 16340’s? Both are rechargeable and with an inexpensive charger you can save...
I have the Manker E14 is an awesome flashlight. (I use the extended 18650 tube.) There is no way I would try to use it on the bill of a hat. It is way too heavy for that.
I am leaning towards the Fenix E16 myself. I have had several Fenix lights over the years and they have been great...
The first thing that came to mind with your requirements is the Klarus Mi7. It starts ion high and I find you hold the button down it will start in moonlight mode. This is generally my EDC light and is a real barn burner with a 14500 battery. The power button protrudes from the body of the...
