When I use heat for coloring purposes I use the back part of the flame on the outside of the yellow spectrum. Go real slow and when you first start to see the color change stop heating it and wait about 30 seconds and re-inspect. This will stop the heat coloring transfer and makes the coloring...
Well I have admired Fred's Luce for a while now. Since I already had my own 15mm Tritium Sphere in stock I asked Fred if he wouldnt mind making me a body for it. I wanted something different than the norm and asked if he could just put a reflector on both sides with the sphere in the middle. :D...

Fred, it now looks like a Zebra. I like the shinny, tri color all polished up version myself better. If handled it will pantina by itself in time.
