    Armytek: "hassle free" warranty? nah

Two Wizard Pro’s failed within 6 months of no abuse (used indoors for benchwork). I dug them out from the junk bin and contacted Armytek. https://imgur.com/a/AYJ9U (link is external) “Hassle-free” my butt.

    Eagletac D25aaa

Looks like Eagletac revealed the D25aaa couple days ago. Anyone have any ideas when it will be available? I am so friggin happy with the company. Minimalist design, slim profile, supports li-ion, CLICKY, and Nichia 219 = answer to my EDC prayers for the past 5 years :D

Armytek Wizard Pro - Died after 8 months.

I ordered the Armytek Wizard Pro Wide XML-L2 Neutral White back in Februrary 2014. Fell in love with it, and it was the first light I've owned to be regularly used. Literally used it every single day; some days I would go through 4 batteries. Last month, the light started flickering...

EagleTac D25a owners: which protected 14500 will fit and allow access to all modes?

I love the d25 so much more. I had a jetbeam rrt01 for a year before. And it was too bulky for me to carry. The d25a is a true edc for me, feels just like Chapstick. For times when. I want a bigger light in my pocket, I lug around the nichia 219 mx25L3C (beautiful 1800 lumens). Oh and the d25c...

And I believe the keeppower protected are the same cells as the Nitecore protected. I've been using the nitecores, and they've been great! IFest IMRs are noticeably brighter though.

2014 d25a Ti supports 14500s just fine; all modes retained. 2013 d25a Ti, works with 14500, but you lose all modes.

Thank you so much, I would've found this out the hardway. I asked Nichia, and they've been handwavy about the optimal current.

CLOSED WTS: TX25C2vn Ultra Compact 18650/2*CR123A Thrower

Re: WTS: TX25C2vn Ultra Compact 18650/2*CR123A Thrower Now debugging with a DMM. Voltage reads fine across the body. So something is broken in either the switch or the path from the anode to the LED.
