    D-mini reflector dimensions

Can anyone let me know the diameter and depth of the LP d-mini reflector. I'm trying to find out if I can fit one in to my LP Signature Tactical GX head - which has a reflector 33mm diameter, 31mm deep. The reflector is smooth, I'm looking to put a OP reflector in. Thanks in advance, Jules

I'm trying to take it as a complement! I was flattered that my review got a link.

    How much is too much?

I find in the woods that a beam pattern that spills upwards is advantageous as I can avoid low hanging branches, brambles, etc. On the road the spill is a problem. I have to keep the beam on low to avoid dazzling drivers, but on low it is not bright enough to ride comfortably at 30mph. Any...

The lead is 16" long. The fittings are standard 5.5x2.1mm coaxial power connectors widely available, so buying or making an extension would be simple. To use it a a helmet light you would need to modify the mount perhaps by bolting it to a helmet mount. I don't think you need a helmet light...

I've not tested the run-time yet. As for the heat, the whole device warms up. I have seen no sign of overheating on the bike. All three compenents; the bezel, back, and drop-in, are well clamped together.

Ledaddict: You are right the beam is very floody. The throw is sufficient for me to cycle comfortably at 30mph on the road. Offroad'bent: The battery is a 3.7v (4.2max) lithium ion, appears to be three standard 18650s in parallel.

Firt impressions riding are that the beam pattern is fine, wide enought not to need a headlamp. The throw is not as good as my old L+M ARC (which I sold a couple of years ago thinking it would soon be obsolescent), it is very similar to my mate's NiteRider HID. In use one rarely got the hot spot...
