Hi, Below are my current RovyVon lights. All acquired in 2023. I was first introduced to this brand when I won a bid for the A29 Brass G1. A week later won another bid for the A4 Pro G2 (2nd from bottom). Both having different UIs. Current versions all have the SS buttons whereas the silicon...
Hi there,
I have a A23 Pro and A29. Both have similar imperfections. It is most likely the excess of lens material from the flange of the lens. This flange is sandwich between the head shell and the led housing. There isn’t any o-ring between these parts. They seal it by just screwing it down...
RovyVon A23 Pro and A4 Pro Ti is my current edc. Won the A4 Pro Ti Gen2 in an auction, was impressed with its form factor and performance that I also procured the A29 brass and A23 Pro pictured here.
I would recommend the Wurkkos HD15 18650 angle light. Dual emitters LH351D and SST20 90/70 Cri. 4 speed with turbo around 2000 lunens. On board charging port, magnetic tail cap, both emitters can invidually operated (for flood or spot), small form factor for a 18650 and lastly comes with a 18350...
Just received mine yesterday directly from Sofirn Lights. Man these budgets lights have come far. Their overall finishing is outstanding, threads, o-rings, fitment and performance is very good.
Coincidently, I have a 21700 light from Wurkkos arriving soon. Its the TS22. I was impressed with how far these budget brands have come and I was really happy when I got the 18650 Wurkkos HD15 and FC12. Their workmanship is quite outstanding compred to those 3x their price range. One does not...
My first McGizmo light is the Aluminium PDs, great light, beautiful beam pattern and my edc of choice for many years now. Second light is the Ti-PD-Mule, great as it is a wall of light, perfect for close quarter usage. And finally a Ti Haiku in XPG and 3S. This trio works for me and IMO the PDs...
My edc lights consisted of 3 McGizmos. PD-S, Mule-PD and Haiku XP-G. Out of the 3, I am always drawn to the PD-S which has a Seoul SSC P4 led which is quite old compare to the XP-G and Cree in mule. The PD-S is definitely warmer and without artefacts such as rings etc. Therefore, for me warmer...
Its a great product and I still have mine bought in 2008 iirc. Only gripe would be the diamond mounts. After time, they tend to get loose due to wear and tear. So basically the angle do change slightly upon wear. What they could introducew ould be a socket style mount with variable angles this...
I had a Kershaw blur tanto serrated that opened in my front jeans pocket. Those blur assisted only need a soft nudge to get it to open I must admit. There was some other stuff in there which have set it off and its pointy tip tore out part of the pocket and my thigh too. Nothing serious but it...
