    Yeah it's not the tail switch, I tried it on a V11r body and it doesn't turn on anymore (it used to work).

    There seems to be a lot of conflicting information on this, including several posts on this forum. One post says it's high CRI followed by another that says no, it's not. Is there any real data on this? Is the 2020 RRT01 Nichia 219c high CRI or not?

    That actually looks like a pretty nice light. I saw it on a few other sites as a set bundled with something else and it was pretty expensive. Shiningbeam's price is pretty good.

    Yeah, strobe (AKA 'dance party' mode) is his favorite feature of my Thrunite 2A :shrug: Yeah...maybe if he "loses" it I'll get to use it The TerraLux looks promising.

The 3 requirements are: 1: 1xAA 2: Must have strobe mode 3: Lanyard attachment so it doesn't get lost Obviously since it's for a kid, the cheaper the better.     Thanks for the literature, but I'm still confused....do I want a higher current with less capacity? Do I want the "usual" type (ICR)? Which one should I use for my 4.2v 1x14500 flashlight? I should get a protected one, right?

    Thanks for clarifying. I really liked the beam profile of the Quark AA2, just not the horrible green tint I got. It was so bad on mine even a non-flashaholic commented on it so I had to return it. I also wanted something brighter than the R5 so the Neutron 2A really seemed like the way to go...

    It's just that I read this post where he says his Quark AA2 S2 (which I had and didn't like) out-throws the Neutron which is too floody, and he is overall disappointed with the Neutron.
