    Niteye EYE10 Review

How low is the low in comparison to the v11r and rrt-01?

EagleTac D25C2 Mini with "clicky" switch?

the biggest plus is 18650-support on D25LC2 without an ugly and too long tube like the quarks, which doubles runtime compared to 17670. And XP-G @ 1,5amp gives lots of lumens with decent throw (doubled throw compared to the quark X 123x2). i like an emitter driven to its limits more than an...

EagleTac D25C2 Mini with "clicky" switch?

The new clicky-version seems to have a user-interface like quarks and additional moonlight mode, so it has to have a new circuit. so if you buy the additional clicky-tube for your twisty, i dont think you will have the full functionality of the new clickys...

    Neutral Quark X with 14500

The 3-9V head works with a single 14500, but it pulls >1,5A for the first minutes, which is over the limit for standard 14500. IMR 14500 will be fine. The low voltage head pulls about 1,2A in the beginning. Therefore the 3-9V head is a bit brighter, but not 100% as bright as with 2xRCR. After...

    Advice: Quark "X" 123x2 versus Zebralight SC600

if you want a pocketable light, get the quark. the head diameter of the zebralight is uncomfortable. if you want great and fast customer service if anything fails - get the quark. if you want the brightest one: zebralight. the ui comes down to personal preference.

    4Sevens Quark AA-2 X and 123-2 X Review (XM-L): RUNTIMES, BEAMSHOTS and more!

Thanks for the review! Would it be possible to add runtime on 17670 or 14670 for the 123-2? I would like to see the regulation with a single li-ion :)

    4sevens Quark X 123-2 Review

First - thanks for a really great review. But I have a request: Could you please check if it reaches full output with a single li-ion, because I really like to run my old Quark 123x2 with a 17670. Current draws would be very interesting, too :)

    Green Quarks

Both Turbos I have seen had a very slight hint of green and yellow in the corona. I like that tint much better than blue tints. Gives a decent color rendering outdoors :)

Short Review of two Quarks, Jet-1 pro and Tiablo A9 P7

The 123x2-head uses a buck-cicuit, which means it is meant for use with batterys which have a voltage above the forward voltage of the LED; the circuit regulates the voltage down. (forward voltage of CREE XP-G is about 3,2-3,5V at full power; CREE XP-E a bit higher...3,7-3,8V dont know exactly...

Jetbeam Jet I MK IBS vs Jet I Pro v3

I bought a Jet-1 pro 3.0 after killing my mk IBS (my fault). I edc'ed each one over a year. Both are easily edc-able for me, although the Jet-1 is a bit bulkier. If you wear tight pants the IBS will be easier ;) The Q5 in the IBS is driven harder and has a slightly less efficient circuit, but...

Short Review of two Quarks, Jet-1 pro and Tiablo A9 P7

Here is a short comparison of my four lights. I do not want to give a detailed review of each light, but I focus on beamshots and my personal opinion I gained from use. First I want to introduce the four lights shortly: Tiablo A9 P7 DSVNI: I bought this light here in the custom BST with a...

Jetbeam RRT-0 or Quark CR123 Turbo?

I vote for the quark. Lower low and higher high, more efficient, and better beam. Also the battry tube is much cheaper :) I like the look and feel of my turbo with 1x123 body. Jetbeam-lumens are calculated emitter-lumens.

Quark 123 vs Surefire E1B vs Nitecore EX10

If you want an edc and you do not want to clip it to your shirt/pocket, go for the quark. I did it. You will not regret it. It is brighter and can go way lower than the competitors while beeing cheaper. You can choose between floody (R5) and throwy (r2) and neutral (q3). But the clip on the...
