My Nitecore D10 won't turn off

I'd also suggest lubing the piston tube and the o-ring near the base. Maybe it is just sticking a little, but I'd expect the light to stay fully on if that were the case.

    edc single cr123 ??

I carried a Novatac 85T for at least a year and never thought about another flashlight until the EX10 came along. I've always wanted a Piston Drive flashlight and could never afford one of McGizmo's custom creations. The Nitecore EX10 and D10 are just about perfect EDC lights if you don't have a...

    favorite 1xcr123 flashlight

My current favorite is a Nitecore EX10. Licensing the PD from McGizmo was a stroke of genius. The EX10 uses the fantastic PD system, is made of 7000 series aluminum, can take RCR123s, is one of the smallest CR123 lights and is affordable by just about anyone.

    New EX10 and D10 LOOK!!

The SmartPD system is perfect for my usage. I am carrying an EX10 only until the Whetstone D10 I ordered arrives. That being said, if there is another limited run done in Camouflage or Foliage Green, I would buy one each of the EX10 and D10!!

How do you carry your Nitecore EX10?

But "Hot Pockets" (especially pepperoni) are tasty! :)

    Nitecore D10 failure

That is true, but how many others are using 7000 series aluminum? I was comparing my Novatac 85T with my EX10 and I couldn't believe they use the same battery. As far as I am aware, the only other major manufacturer to use 7075 aluminum in their lights is Surefire. While the upcoming Titan TA-1...

How do you carry your Nitecore EX10?

I wear it attached to my belt with the pocket clip. To prevent accidental activation, I turn the EX10 on, then turn the head until it turns off. Now it functions in "momentary" mode and won't stay on continuously.

    Jet 1mk2R vs nitecore

This depends on how you are trained to use a light with a firearm. If you are using the classic Harries technique (off-hand crossover), then either would probably work as your thumb is always on the switch (thus reverse or forward clickie doesn't matter as much). If you are using the Chapman...

Fenix P2D: A Party in your Pocket!

That's a great story! As a CPF member, I clearly get why you had the P2D with you, but why in the world was that girl carrying around a plastic ninja?

Novatac Quality Issue thread - The Bad and The Ugly.

Hmm, I got my 85T (11362)from Lighthound a few days ago and mine is functionally perfect. The LED and bezel are centered perfectly and there were no smudges on the lens. The only "flaw" is that the anodizing isn't perfectly matched, but frankly, this is the best light I've owned thus far and has...

    Bug-out Box... sort of

In another life, I used Hardigg cases for rugged transport of important items. They make just about any size you need including mobile offices. If you really need the physical documents to be kept safe and portable, they may be right up your alley.
