Can I save or repurpose this Pelican 2AA
You may have to cut the tube itself to get to the battery to see what brand it is as I've not had any luck removing stuck alkaleaks. No, but if one battery leaked in a set I wouldn't think the other 3 are "fine" as chances they share the same issue. I would consider using nimh in it or L92s if it can handle the higher voltage. Contact Duracell before trying anything drastic that could further damage the light and see what they will do about it. If done properly batteries that are discharged can be charged a lot faster without damage and ramp down in current as it accepts more and more charge.
