    Please let us know if these are still Toshiba bulbs, and if they are made in Japan. I do not think they will honor any warranty if you trim these bulbs.

    Are these Bosch 9012 HIR bulbs real HIR ??

    I have the +120 for about a month, small improvement over the aging +30 I had, but not enough brightness to justify the cost. If they come stateside and way down in price, I would probably get them. I doubt these will last a year with my driving style and DRL usage.

    HIR 9011 and 9012 Questions

    I will add my 2 cents. The 9011 bulbs that ship from GM parts direct. com are Vosla HIR 9011 and in the rally lights link above, the output for the Vosla 9011 is listed at 3000 lumens, which seems bogus. Should be in the ballpark of 2350 lumens.

    Figured I would update this thread even thought I am not the OP. I bought the Vosla HIR +30 (GM part number 23342527)in January from gmpartsdirect.com. The passenger side bulb burned out today in my corolla, lasted just about 5 months. It was a shame, I knew being brighter comes at a cost...

    Have a new 2016 Corolla and I'm still getting "flashed"

    My friend has a current gen corolla for a few months now, he says he gets flashed all the time by other drivers when he has his low beams on. When he takes it in for free service next week he will ask the dealer to adjust the lights.
