Ok, good to know. Thanks for the info about that little hole. And I think you're right, shouldn't be a problem to seal it. But I think that hole is really odd... Probably useful for the assembling processes, but for the maker just let it there, uncovered, seems a bit "sloppy" on their part...- misterkrek

Just curious... I have an identical model from FandyFire, the UV-S5. Even the cons are the same, the hissing sound on low, the annoying PWM flicker and the current drain when off... this last one I found out the worst way, lol... Thank You for another awesome review! I really liked the "switch" placement! About the lack of water-resistance, I don't know, but seeing the photos I don't think it would be just a matter "thicker o-rings" to solve it... From what I can see on your pictures, there is a "hole" in the front...- misterkrek
