What was your prep for today?

Oh! How angry do you think Milwaukee, and Ridgid users are going to be if they find out those brands are owned by the very same Parent company that owns Ryobi, and HART? 😁

What was your prep for today?

I simply meant their line of power-tools are not highly regarded by many. If I owned those other brands, as the CEO of B&D, I'd change the color scheme on a few of the tools from those other brands to Black & Orange, lower the price a tiny bit.... Then just put them out there to mess with the...

Recommend me a single AA flashlight

I'm done with Klarus. I would say the thermal regulation on their lights is a joke, if it wasn't for the fact that it is non-existant.

How do you get your drinking water?

Unfortunately, there's hidden sugar in everything we eat or drink in America. Many other nations too. Can't get away from it unless you have your own farm, grow, raise, or make your own food. Even so-called healthy food like rice.... guess what your body breaks it down into after eating. If you...

Help me choose an LED . . . and maybe a flashlight!

Nope! Cats have tiny brains and run on instinct! On the bright side, your cat clearly loves you. Otherwise it would let you starve, with your wimpy hunting skills. 😁

Help me choose an LED . . . and maybe a flashlight!

Fun Fact: Your cat thinks you're a large, hairless cat who is absolutely pathetic at hunting prey. So it sometimes brings you gifts of food (dead rats) because your cat doesn't want you to starve! Best way to eliminate this issue.... Eat in front of your cat as often as possible. Once it...

What was your prep for today?

Went a little overboard with the credit card yesterday, filling in a few holes in my preps. - Off-brand budget electric screwdriver that did surprising well in independent testing. (The brand is called "NoCry." Hey, I didn't name it.) - Craftsman 12-piece screwdriver set. Low-price but good...

Incoming - What do you have coming in the mail??

Sticking to just lights.... Kobalt 6-volt 1000-lumen LED Battery-operated Portable Work Light. (The one that takes 4AA batteries. Not the one that takes 6 of them.) You'd think Kobalt (or their parent company Lowes) could come up with a shorter name. Yeah, my absolute least favorite tool brand...

What did you use your flashlight for today?

So, one of my co-workers has been screwing around with the Patrol vehicle at my 3rd shift job. (Namely taking it home off the property, and using it as a commuter vehicle on the weekends when their is no vehicle patrol.) One night, I know something is going to happen. She'll get pulled over, or...

Could you recommend a cost-effective flashlight?

Since price is the only thing you mentioned, guessing you'd want at least some quality too. Check out the following two models from Sofirn's official website: 1- SP10 Pro AA EDC model ~ $12.55 2- SC02 EDC model (rechargeable) ~ $10.99 www.sofirnlight.com (Heads-up though! Sofirn sells cheap...

    raggies random remarks ....

Well, if you can drive stick, you're in luck. Not sure about the Mirage, but the S trim Versa does come with a manual. Which will reduce the cost down to just over $16K. Instead of just under $20K for the CVT-equipped versions on the S trim.

    raggies random remarks ....

Don't blame you. The Jatco CVT is unreliable. Nissan and Jatco are owned by the same parent company. The one that sells Jatco CVTs to other brands too.... such as Mitsubishi. Best solution, flush the CVT every 20K miles. It should last 100K. After that, it's a crap-shoot.
