    Any way to mod a Sapphire 25?

    How do you like this setup?? Does the head look obviously mismatched? Is output significantly improved? Thinking about doing myself, but don't have a Sapphire yet...

    Does this AAA light exist yet?

    If you're still interested in a Hi CRI Preon Clicky, but not sold on the clicky, check out Zodiac Engineering. He does a mod to titanium clickies that removes the button cap exposing the rubber boot. I sent mine in for the mod, but I can't report on functionality because I haven't gotten it back...

    Awesoooome! the secret is indeed very cool. I can't wait for this light! glad to see that youre putting in the effort to get it right too, rather than rush production. definitely better in the long run, and its just better to get it right the first time. keep it up!

    Thanks for the link Ty. I'm getting email notifications for this project, and it's definitely worth considering. It's a little smaller than I'd like and doesn't have the instant High I'm hoping for, but I think it might be one of the better options available. Maybe I'm just being too picky...

    You're absolutely right, I already own a ZL SC31 and quite like it. It's just bigger than I would comfortably carry, and I think the two different switches would be ideal. Still, I don't know anything about putting a light together, so maybe it's more complicated than I thought to build this...

    Thanks for the reply Archimedes. I've looked into the LF2XT, and I'd love to get my hands on one. The UI isn't ideal, but just the fact that it's so customizable would compensate. I've also checked out the Univex, and its UI just doesn't work for me. I might consider it if it were L-H-M or...
