NITECORE HC50 565 Lm Headlamp REVIEW

FlashLion, I just purchased this headlamp, based largely on your review. My other two headlamps are a Coast HL7 2xAA zoomie and a Thrunite TH10. The HL7 is versatile, but a bit underpowered at 285 lumens. The TH10 has a nice amount of throw (for a headlamp) and definately has its uses. The...

    Mmu x3 plans ?

I really want a MMU-X3 but cant find one, and I cant quite get comfortable with the X3R version currently available. While walking around with my headlamp I want to have something in my pocket, not a holster, that can blast a lumenous, floody / throwy beam a moderate distance. A 1X26650...

    Review:Thorfire S70:XHP70, 3000 lumens, 500 meters,2x18650/26650;(beam)shots, compare

The large heavily OP'd reflector certainly does result in a beautiful, smooth and useful search beam profile. Step down from turbo after only 3 minutes is a little disappointing, however. At @$70 the price is competitive. Thank you for the nice review.

    Coyote Light

Save your money. At +$400 there is a far, far better option than a "red flashlight". I too have a significant coyote problem. ATN has introduced a "budget" night vision scope. The X-sight. I bought a 3-12 power model. The factory IR is a little under powered, but can give as much as 150...

Zebralights new battery tube design(SC600 MKII, SC63, SC5, exc.)

I am a newbie to modern LED flashlights and have been building my collection over the past couple of months. I've spent a lot of time surfing the CPF threads and the ZL SC600 is a flashlight that had made it to the top of the list. I think this flashlight has some of the prettiest beamshots...

    Alternatives to Mountain Electronics

I am a noob to modern LED flashlights and have spent a lot of time on CPF and BLF trying to get up to speed. After reading all of the "glowing" reviews, I decided to inquire about one of his full blown Supfire M6 mods reported to offer 4000 lumens in the SRK soda can size. On order! I've...

Re: Just got my first ZebraLight. I'm a defintely fan! I am new to modern LED flashlights and been doing a lot of research here. I love the reviews and beamshots of the Zebralight SC600. The beam profile and tint seems to be just the ticket for walking the dogs through wooded areas. But, I...

Manufacturer not honoring their own warranty policy

I am new to modern LED flashlights and am looking forward to building my collection. I have heavily reviewed this and other forums for the past couple of months. I have spent so much time in fact that my wife is starting to think I need counseling. Building a collection is going to be quite...
