What I would like to see offered by Peak

not exclusively related to a 14250 body but I was just thinking, what about an L body? If you're dedicated to a particular battery (123/AA) than you already have a head you could use on an L body. Peak also already makes dozens of heads in terms of power packs, emitters and color arrangements...

Need advise with Inova X1 Gen 1 Mod (with pics)

I still have a Gen 1 that I popped but never modded. How would the DS & GS compare to the SMJ style quad die for the Gen 1 optic? I'm thinking the unmodded 35 degree rather than the spill version. http://theledguy.chainreactionweb.com/product_info.php?cPath=48_52_82&products_id=755

    MiniMag Tailswitch and Bezel Material

I'd prefer aluminum as well, if only for matching the light. But I'll buy either, and I really like that its McClicky based.

    MiniMag Tailswitch and Bezel Material

if you make the tailswitch with the old minim@g threading, I think it will work on the Elektrolumens Lucidus and Peak's First Responder which isn't out yet. I've been waiting a long time for a metal switch to replace the Kroll.

    Photon Freedom type igital circiut?

I'd certainly like to know if its doable. I've had 2 generations of their Fusion and several Freedoms because of just how useful the circuit is. Though I can think of a few other lights I wish had the capability.

Inova X1 (3rd Gen) First Impressions

what do you think of the beam pattern of your gen3? Is it just like your gen2 only brighter?

    Sold/Expired FS: Microprocessor controlled drivers

Re: Microprocessor controlled 4-mode driver boards I think you had written something about the driver being able to remember which mode it was last in before being switched off such that when you turn it back on it will be in the same mode. I had assumed that you had to cycle through each...

    Sold/Expired FS: Microprocessor controlled drivers

    Re: Microprocessor controlled 4-mode driver boards Exactly I'll take 5 of the AA 3% - 20% - 60% - 100% (no strobe)

Inova X1 (3rd Gen) First Impressions

Anyone else thinking of a Rebel mod? IMO, even if Inova sold an empty body for $20 it would be worth it as a great host. My immediate concern is if this polished reflector is going to make things easier or harder to get a decent beam.

    Sold/Expired FS: Microprocessor controlled drivers

Re: Microprocessor controlled 4-mode driver boards Very interested 2 words : Angle Head I second the low, med, high idea Strobe is useless, and I like to keep things simple and as straightforward as possible.

    MiniMag Tailswitch "feeler"

I think $30-$40 (or less of course) wouldn't be a problem. The MMs have been around for a long time, and considering how much some are willing to spend in the pursuit of modding its just a drop in the bucket. I would imagine that some of the people who sell completed work here would also want to...

Inova: where is the promised new beef?

Does anyone know if this new version of the X1 plays well with NiMH/Lithium cells?

Revised Peak Website Is Up (Woops)

They may also be building it themselves, thus getting no web advice. Engineers can be rather stubborn, I work for a few who apparently managed to get Joomla up and functional without knowing that the administration panel even existed. They just recoded the scripts and setup the database tables...

Gerber Firecracker or 3rd gen Inova X1?

where are you getting info about a gen 3 Inova? I haven't heard of it yet. But I will say that Gerber has a lot to make up for after the Infiniti M. I haven't even wanted to check out the specs for the Firecracker, or their 3AA & 4AA Fusion wannabes.
