    Comparing the McLuxIII-PD to other lights

    One thing I gotta agree on is they are both very expensive, with thin bezels prone to denting if dropped onto concrete,etc. The PD is set for only two levels,if you are not happy with the low level..too bad. For $200.00 suck it up.

    gas price has gone through the roof !!

    I am not economist, but seems everything is affected by gas. The food at store transported by vehicle that use gas. The farmer that grows grain uses gas powered harvester,etc. To say that the effects will only be felt when pulling up to the gas pump is somewhat amusing.

    What do you use your lights for?

    I like to shine them on walls in dark rooms to compare the tint of each light. Also to mix house paint in dark room, but tint must be CPF true white to do this. No one has agreed on true white, yet everyone has it. Then put them on shelf and think of next 400.00 USD purchase. Because like...

    McLux PD vs HDS U60

    I did not intend for 'negative' reply...only truth, the PD and HDS light WILL dent in the bezel area if dropped to everyday surface. Examples are ceramic tile, concrete steps, etc. They are not bulletproof lights..... I own both and DO NOT regret the expense. Just making other "newbies" aware of...

    McLux PD vs HDS U60

    They both dent severely when dropped on bezel. HDS bezel fit on PD. Both have very thin bezel area. But both manufacturer be around forever to take care of expensive light. Do not drop 200.00 EDC without free extra bezel rings. Best light made. The best.

    HDS EDC or SF U2 ULTRA????

    I have U2, HDS EDC U60, and Arc 4. As far as sturdiness is concerned, I would strongly favor SF U2 design. I have dropped both the HDS and Arc and dented the thin bezels many times.The Arc 4 being older and dropped more times will not open to allow lens change. Despite all this my favorite EDC...
