Thanks. I think I'll keep using these. I'm happy with the current upgrade and the beam pattern is the same without any more glare. This way I'll be replacing bulbs less.
I upgraded the lights in my Honda civic to 9012. My options were Sylvania Basic and Xtravision. I’m not sure how much better Xtravision is, but on the back of the box it said the life of them was around 1/2 of the basic. I don’t know how accurate the packaging is. The 9012 does seem like it’s...
I work in a factory. We get covered and drenched in spraying coolant and oil sometimes so water proof is a must. I also need to attach the light to the steel machines we work on so it needs a strong magnet. I see the Lumintop E05C has a magnet and nice side light, but I’m not sure how strong it...
Re: HOORAY! New 65w, 2100-lumen H7 bulbs are for real!
I thought these have about the same amount of life of standard H7's. I thought the filament was just slightly different within a mm in length? Or are they just longer lasting then the higher brightness overdriver H7's?

The new bulbs put out more towards blue or appear to have a slightly higher kelvin temp compared to standard H7 bulbs without any filters or marketed (increased whiteness). They're still definitely standard halogen looking. It's just...
I had to give a thanks to the people of this community. I just replaced the batteries in an old photon Freedom and had to re-enable this. Being able to search this forum for help is a great convenience.
Re: HOORAY! New 65w, 2100-lumen H7 bulbs are for real!
I got mine as well. I put them into my Ninja 650 and both of them are able to run at the same time without a power issue. The heat difference doesn't seem to be very much as nothing has melted. When I used my Lux meter comparing the stock...
I think that's for a single bulb. I remember years ago paying almost $30 I think. But I also bought them 2 at a time, so I'm really not certain anymore.
I'm not sure what bulb manufacturer is manufacturing them. I don't think they are being made by Osram this time. I think he would have said the manufacturer if it was a big brand. I could be wrong though.
Yup. I emailed him about it. Their was a delay of a few weeks. So Hopefully within a month we should be able to order some! I'm getting a couple backups this time
I'm resurrecting this thread, because they're back baby!

Now I have to find out if a 2017 Ninja 650 can run 20 extra watts at the same time
