    Both Vapcell and KeepPower have 3600 mAh cells listed on their websites. The Vapcell isn't protected, but the KeepPower is. I'm not sure if they're available for sale yet though.

    The Vapcell website indicates a new version of the 18350 cell was released on 1-15-19. Not sure if this is the same cell referenced in the post above from 11-20, or if it's an entirely new cell. The cell now has a continuous discharge rate of 9A instead of 10A.

    Based on that description it sounds like the switch itself is failing. I'd contact Streamlight and see if you can purchase a replacement tailcap/switch assembly.

    So this light still appears on Surefire's website, but it appears inventory on other retailer's sites may be getting limited based on a quick search I did. Perhaps there's an upgrade to this light coming in the near future? Or maybe it's just being silently discontinued.

    If you look closer at the image of the batteries they say 18650 or any other size. I was confused about that initially as well.

    Not sure what size you're looking for, but how about a Pelican 8060 or 7060? The latest revision of the 7060 claims 3 hours on high (368 lumens) or 9 hours on medium (150 lumens).
